The musical project Band of Pockets first caught our attention with their 8-track project, Moving On Again, earlier this year and now they are back with a brand new single titled "Better Day". The R&B/Gospel-tinged track is as uplifting as they come with rousing choral vocals and bright keys all underpinned by a vibrant groove to boot. Led by the vocal talent of Washington DC, USA-raised singer-songwriter Yona Marie, the track implores us to always lean on the bright side of things even though it might be difficult but we just have to believe and stay strong till a better day comes along. Band of Pockets is a musical duo made up of Swedish guitarist/composer J.O. Nilsson and raised singer/songwriter Yona Marie. The band is a highly collaborative collective, featuring musicians from the USA, South Africa, Argentina, and Sweden. Formed in 2020 and led by Swedish guitarist J. Nilsson, working closely with singer Yona Marie, they have released over 20 songs since the start.
