Alongside the single, they announce their groundbreaking album, Led by Ancient Light, due for release in Fall 2023. This album will take listeners on a journey where narrative, organic instrumentation, and cinematic sound design converge.

The forthcoming album, Led by Ancient Light, transcends the realm of conventional albums. KOAN Sound's sonic voyage is aided by esteemed audio engineer, Jim Barr, and the iconic Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Barr has enriched their cello and piano recordings with a futuristic, electric edge, while the ambiance of Studio Bell resonates in the album's piano aspects.
These collaborations result in Led by Ancient Light, KOAN Sound's most ambitious project to date, reflecting their narrative, conceptual approach. With an organ-driven closure on the final track, the celestial ending of the story encapsulates their expansive creative vision.
