Kosha Dillz 's newest video "Ups and Downs" sees him stuck in a never-ending cycle of serial monotony, however, he is not wallowing in his sorrow but trying to make the best out of it. Over the upbeat and bouncy soundscape provided by Black Surfer, Kosha details his daily itinerary ranging from waking up groggy, dumping Twitter to being a threader and drinking his coffee black as he should. The track is quite lively, entertaining and hilarious in Kosha's usual happy-go-lucky demeanour. Lines like "Groundhog day Dillz Murray with the flow/Hit the accountant-count some money before I go/ Stretch it out, maybe I can touch a couple toes/Bust a couple chops busta couple flows bungalow" remind us that he is actually focused on the things that matter but it's always better to have fun while being serious. He acknowledges that every day might not be bright and sunny and he caps it up with the positive chorus "just an average day with the ups and downs but guess what, I'm up right now" .
The accompanying visuals showcase Kosha's zany lifestyle with a crazy cast of New York characters who are colourful, zesty and unfiltered. Kosha himself is in his element and ploughs through the day like an unrestrained bull in a china shop.
