Ghanaian breakout musician Black Sherif (aka Blacko) is not resting on his oars as he drops the visual for his song "Oil in My Head". The summertime anthem is ripe with rich cinematic stabs and an infectious groove all underpinned by his commanding melodic vocals and uplifting lyrics that depict his meteoric rise to fame. He talks about all the successes he has attained over the years, from the awards, recognition and more but he also reminds us that he hasn't lost sight of his true passion and faith.
The accompanying video depicts Black Sherif’s one-of-a-kind journey as he has reached stardom never seen before by any other Ghanaian artist. The video comes as an exclamation mark after the incredible success of Black Sherif’s debut album, The Villain I Never Was, which was released in October. The visual makes use of pronounced motifs that capture the young artist's current life and the never-ending roller coaster of wins and it also displays some form of reflection to balance the entire affair.
