North-East London-raised singer/songwriter KIANJA delivers the perfect self-discover anthem in the form of her new single "Lost In You". The Motown-soul-inspired record is ripe with lush orchestral elements with warm keys and rousing grooves underpinned by the singer's commanding vocal presence and earworm melodic runs. The singer comes to a sudden realization after she had been led on by a former lover and as they say, hindsight is 20/20 and she can see clearly now. The lyrics are quite unapologetic and somewhat cheeky as KIANJA strays from victimhood and keeps it fun with a lot of positive energy. In her own words she explains, “I wrote this song when I woke up, smelled the coffee and remembered who the fuck I am" and that is about the most spot-on explanation ever.
