We head out to France with the help of the uprising neo-soul singer-songwriter and producer who goes by the moniker Keysuna. She is a burgeoning artist who loves to mesh soul music, hip-hop, jazz and electronic sounds into her repertoire and her new single "Uncertainty" surely emboldens her skill. The self-produced record has a warm and nostalgic soundscape made up of soothing pads, flutes, pulsating bass synths and a head-nodding groove all underpinned by her melodic rap flows and sublime vocal runs. As the title suggests, it dives into the uncertainty of this world and the need to face one's inner fears and seize the day.
The song comes with a visual directed by Charlie Luccini who takes us on a journey between the French countryside and the seacoast, where we can see Keysuna in her element as she creates. The DIY feel of the visual is quite prominent and adds a nice retro touch to the visual.
"Uncertainty" features flute player Louise Chavanon. The single is the lead single from her upcoming project, Earlybirds.
