Platinum indie pop band The Walters have returned with a perfect summer bop. Called "Stuck In My Ways", the single is released alongside a comedic and fun-loving new music video.
With "Stuck In My Ways", The Walters have crafted a single all about repeating the same actions over and over again, despite those things making your romantic partner upset. Lyrics including, "You got me in trouble / you have been asking for change / I've been stuck in my ways / I'vebeen making all these plans / trying to make you understand / you just walk away," show that the person is aware they make their partner mad but they are trying to connect and overcome their differences. Musically, "Stuck In My Ways" is a sun-kissed alt pop tune filled with delicious layered harmonies, breezy guitars and funky bass. Emotive piano and shimmery soundscapes complete this lush and cinematic musical affair. The fun music video shows the band competing against their nemesis in carnival and field day games.
The Walters began releasing music in 2014 with the hit "I Love You So". After taking a hiatus in 2017, the group returned to the spotlight when that song went massively viral on TIKOK and climbed the chart on major Top 40 radio.
