Silk Cinema is a London-based duo, comprised of Kristy X (vocals) and Raph A (instruments/production) who caught our ears some years ago with their unique brand of experimental R&B/soul. Their latest release "So Serious" is a sublime soul-funk effort that channels the old and the new. From the slick guitar plucks, dreamy pads and head-nodding drum grooves, the duo show us that they are true students of the genre and there is a good reason their sound is sometimes described as Sade in space.
