Tel Aviv-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Roni Bar Hadas was born into a musical family and at a young age, she was able to use it as an outlet and therapy. Her creative journey started in the classical arena and over time she carved her own path infusing her original sound into her classical training. After playing alongside different bands in festivals across Isreal, she released her debut album Calm the Beast in late 2020 which garnered her enormous buzz across her home country. As she prepares to release her sophomore album on June 13th, she shares the visuals for her lead single "Troubles"—a groovy pop track ripe with soft head-nodding grooves and sombre guitar licks that give off a nostalgic aesthetic. Armed with a rich and subtle vocal tone, Roni floats over the track in an effortless manner as her soothing melodies help ease our troubles as she reminds us that tough times won't last and we all have the inner strength to face the pain albeit in different ways.
The accompanying visual is as colourful as they come and captures Roni's girl-next-door looks in a retro-tinged setting. We see her basking in her own serenity and the cut scenes of celebration of people also accentuate the message of hope she is sending out to everyone going through personal struggles.
