Toronto-based artist KxngQuizzle has shared a new song called "In My Duffle", accompanied by a new video directed by @samureye. Of Lebanese and Sudanese descent, KxngQuizzle was only 13 years old when the Lebanon-Israel War turned his life upside down- and as a result, he was forced to leave his Lebanese home and move to Canada. As a result, the future rapper struggled to cope with the uncertainty that surrounded him, but after discovering his passion for music, he found comfort in hip-hop. Music became an outlet to express his emotions and channel his experiences into his expressive, raw sound. Now boasting a burgeoning discography full of hard-hitting cuts, KxngQuizzle continues to blaze forth with each release. His latest, "In My Duffle" is sleek and streetwise, featuring a crisp visual that enhances the song's stylishness and intensity.
"In My Duffle", produced by @prod.arttour, contains silvery reversed samples that contrast intriguingly with a booming rhythm section. Underscored by heavy 808s and pounding percussion, KxngQuizzle exhibits deft flows with a commanding delivery that contains undertones of urgency. The intense single demonstrates his ability to craft ominous soundscapes with ease, as his cutting lines hit like darts atop the imposing instrumentation. The new visual is charismatic in its stripped-back style, with crisp shots and fast-paced editing that enhance the song's cinematic, energizing sonics.
The latest from KxngQuizzle, "In My Duffle" presents a hard-edged new joint that continues his run of raw, focused releases.
