Lyrics including, "living in the limelight /everybody but me is having fun / I would thrive if I healed," show how sometimes Elliot feels like a misfit and they worry their differences will prevent them from succeeding further in life. Musically, "Fun" is a bombastic dance pop thrill filled with hard hitting synths, elevated and dramatic melodies and nu-disco beats. "Fun" is equally dark sonically as it is upbeat for a complex, indulgent and irresistible record.
Elliot Lee is known for being boundaryless both in their music and personal life. Bursting onto the scene with their 2018 single "Cruel", the multi-talented songwriter has since teamed up with New York label Photo Finish Records in sharing their diverse musical catalog.
