Kami Kehoe shares her debut full-length album 'DRAMA QUEEN'

Up-and-coming multi-genre artist Kami Kehoe released her highly anticipated debut full-length album, DRAMA QUEEN. The 9-track project, led by the brutally honest single "hate ur f**king self," showcases Kami's unique ability to blend rock, R&B, funk, and pop elements into a conceptually driven narrative that takes listeners through the emotional rollercoaster of healing a broken heart.

'DRAMA QUEEN' is a raw, unapologetic journey through the stages of a breakup, with each song reflecting Kami's personal experience and emotions. The album is meticulously structured to follow the progression from feeling numb, coping in unhealthy ways, reminiscing, experiencing anger, and ultimately finding forgiveness. Kami's candid approach to songwriting, combined with her exceptional skills as a drummer, creates an immersive listening experience that is both relatable and engaging.

The album's initial single, "loaded gun," has already garnered significant attention on the social media platform TikTok, amassing over 10,000 followers for the young artist virtually overnight. Kami's ability to fuse old and new soul, along with her fluency in playing drums and an innate attention to production, make her a standout 19-year-old artist to watch in the music industry.

Regarding the album's title, Kami Kehoe shares, "I titled it DRAMA QUEEN to come off as somewhat sarcastic but also really feeling like I was being too dramatic. Writing each song felt like a therapy session. I would write and release how I felt and then reflect when I listened back to the songs, realizing the emotions I was feeling and accepting them instead of ignoring them."

Kami's passion for music dates back to the age of 6, when she began playing drums and later joined a band with her two sisters as a backup vocalist. Although the band eventually disbanded, Kami's love for music persisted. Over the past three years, she has taught herself to produce and engineer music from her bedroom, resulting in a catalog of over 100 unreleased songs.

With the release of 'DRAMA QUEEN,' Kami Kehoe is ready to make her mark on the music scene as she unveils her authentic sound and shares her exceptional talent with the world.
