Canadian rapper Mouraine reminds you he’s the "Big Dawg" in new single [Video]

Edmonton rapper Mouraine is on the come-up and enlists West Side Boogie to show you why in his latest single “Big Dawg”—an anthem needed when it comes to working for what you want and doing it your way.

Being born in Sudan and growing up in the snowy escapades of Alberta, Canada, Mouraine has always searched for something greater beyond himself.

Learning English from Hip-Hop culture played a lot of influence on Mouraine and his sound.

His previous works such as major hits “Major Dreams” and “Gold” showcase this influence through sly ad-libs and the same charisma from his mentors.

Even the chorus to “Big Dawg” includes a nod with an interpolated chorus from Lil Wayne.

Mouraine wears his influences on his sleeve while paving the way to solidifying his own sound and brand.

Mouraine provides the “big sauce” and the recipe for making your mark.

The track is infectious.

With a strong hook and beat that makes your head bob for the entirety of the track, Mouraines' attitude is swagadocious and confident.

This level of confidence is matched by respected confidant Westside Boogie who rides the beat with the same sense of swagger and fluidity.

With a new album on the way, “Big Dawg” is Mouraine paying homage to the culture that literally raised him to strive for opportunity and in doing so is leading by example for a new generation.
