Apex Zero and Moussa Dembele take us through "Seventh Dimension (On Perspective)" [Video]

London, UK-based multi-disciplinary artist Apex Zero continues his audio-visual projects with the release of "Seventh Dimension (On Perspective)" which sees him teaming with Malian singer and master Kora player Moussa Dembele. In a vein similar to his previous release Drummer Warrior Storyteller (Part One), Apex Zero proceeds with a profound outlook on life as he experiences changes in time. Largely inspired by his journey to the Venezuelan Amazon, where he experienced the sacred Yopo ceremony of the Piaroa people under the guidance of Great Shaman Rufino Ponare, Apex shares with listeners his dynamic worldview from his perspective as a rapper and spoken word artist. He takes us right into the mix of the action with lines like "Travel through air and water, across land, green leaves, red rivers, pink sands/wonder landscapes in the element, led by creation's hand/ beings expand every step by step" as we literally watch him traverse through the natural elements albeit figuratively. Malian singer and master Kora player Moussa Dembele also reinforces the growth theme with his poetically charged melodic runs and sombre Kora textures.

For the visual representation, Apex Zero teams up with two long-standing collaborators, Chiba Visuals and Slim Yearwood, to create stunning visuals that signal the next phase of the living album’s visual element. The world built by the filmmakers, who have all undertaken similar rituals with plant medicines, contains powerful symbolism and visual effects to capture the feelings, emotions and Spiritual insights the experiences endowed them with. Shot between Venezuela, Peru, Barbados and London, the visuals seamlessly tap into the music and lyrics to celebrate life, honour Ancestors and The Most High, and express gratitude and appreciation for existence and creation.

Not one to sleep on his oars, Apex Zero will follow up with  "You (On Love)" dropping on May 5th, 2023, followed by the "Drummer Warrior Storyteller (Part Two)" on May 19th 2023. All visuals will be released on Apex’s new official artist channel.
