Orange County based singers/songwriter, composer and musician Gal Musette has just shared her latest single "Moment". The song is the latest off of her forthcoming album Pendulum which is set for release this summer.
"Moment" is a contemplative song all about dealing with grief, loss and yearning for what could be. Lyrics including, "If I had a moment more / I’d come knocking at your door / take you out into the sun / cancel out the damage done / but time is nothing like a clock / that you can wind, that you can block", show Musette singing out her regrets. Her desire to make amends and connect with the one she lost in a more fulfilling and heartfelt way is poignant and relatable. Musically, "Moment" features Gal Musette's pure and pristinely delightful vocals singing cathartic melodies over whimsical indie pop rhythms. Steady bass and drums underlay dreamy soundscapes for a pleasurable listen.
Gal Musette is a young artist on the rise. Having already toured alongside musical greats The Magnetic Fields and Donavon Frankenreiter, the talented songwriter has also collaborated with Rufus Wainwright among others. Her triumphant arrangements and emotional songwriting has catapulted her as an important voice in today's indie pop scene. Listen to "Moment" now and remember it is ok to have regrets but let them go in time.
