Kentucky artist E The Profit has connected with the legendary Michael 500 Watts, the founder of seminal Southern hip-hop label Swishahouse, for a release called "H.L.F. (Swishahouse Remix)". In a world of sped-up edits, E The Profit gifts the world a slowed-down variation of one of his most well-received joints. The “H.L.F. (Swishahouse Remix)", featuring DJ Michael 5000 Watts, is an ode to that chopped-not-slopped sound that has been bred in Houston. Though this wave will bridge the gap from Texas to KY, this remix presents a hard-hitting, potent new release. After his smash “Bluegrass” surpassed 3 million plays on Spotify and the song was added to the NBA 2K23 Soundtrack, he is building momentum within Kentucky and far beyond, and continues to do so with "H.L.F. (Swishahouse Remix)".

"H.L.F. (Swishahouse Remix)" presents an imposing sound with its heavy, raw bass and ominous yet sleek keys. As booming 808s and crisp, bouncy percussion drop in beneath E's deepened, slowed vocals, the song takes on a powerful, cathartic tone as it keeps a steady pace and packs its sound with charisma.

Building off the momentum the original “H.L.F.” built, this moment is another notch in the belt for E. With the co-sign of a true pioneer of Southern hip-hop and a remix to that hits hard and captivates, its easy to feel excitement for what may be coming next from E the Profit this year.
