British-Nigerian female rapper DEELA is back with a new single "TAKE IT UP" as she kicks off her musical campaign for the new year. With a slew of releases and videos behind her, from the anthemic "anyways/whatchu mean" to the sultry vibes on "GET A GRIP," the emerging rapper has shown that she is one to watch.
"TAKE IT UP" is DEELA putting her foot down on the neck of a past lover who chose to cross the line. Bolstered by the bass-heavy trap soundscape, she gets in her bag with her distinct commanding flow and unapologetic lyrics, she reminds listeners that she is done with catering to others and she is fully focused on her grind.
DEELA is a Lagos-born, UK-based rapper who started out by dropping songs on SoundCloud before releasing her debut EP. She is currently signed to the distribution label DMY Artists.
