Leeds-based duo neontown drop infectious pop album Dancing With Tears In My Eyes, swaying through everything from anger and frustration to vulnerability and strength, framed by uplifting vibes and tons of confidence.
With anthemic dance tracks like “Electric 2.0,” and “Don't Wanna Be Here,” offset by the impactful yet quieter stylings of “Sleep With My Light On,” the 12-track album showcases the duo’s ability to move between textured soundscapes to pounding and expansive productions as the emotive song writing immerses us completely.
A collaborative project started by producers/writers Jac and Aure during lockdown, neontown have honed an experimental musicality fusing late-noughties pop sensibilities with contemporary dance influences, as they find their footing and continue their rise to the top.
