After releasing her Samuel Kareem-produced 6-track EP last year emerging singer-songwriter RIMON returns with accompanying visuals for the song "I Choose U" . The Ethiopian-Eritrean-born, Amsterdam-raised singer has carved her own path with her niche soulful sounds and distinct melodic runs. The eclectic singer sure moves to the rhythm of her own beat as she has lived across various continents and cities with her unique musical family which includes longtime producer Samuel Kareem and the ALLE$ collective.
"I Choose U" is a brilliant mix of R&B, Neo-Soul and Pop with Kareem providing the perfect backdrop ripe with dreamy and nostalgia-inducing pads, mellow keys and soft grooves to match RIMON's sublime vocals alongside Filipino-born, LA-based singer RINI. The duo delivers a heartfelt tale of true love captured at the moment when one has eyes for one particular individual. Yavez Anthonio directed the visual which captures couples from all walks of life on the streets of New York blissfully in love.
Her debut album will release at the end of 2023.
