Ray Garrison announces new band, Silos, with debut release, “Flowers”

Ray Garrison is a writer, producer, and successful EDM DJ – responsible for the entirety of his catalog. Influenced by many genres, including Pop, Heavy Metal, and Nu Metal, Garrison has a variety of music under his belt already. Garrison has extensive experience with cover songs, but does he let this stop him from creating bigger, better things? The answer became a clear "no", when Garrison met up with David Rhemann, the drummer for Grandson, in December 2022.

And so Silos was born. Bringing in the team from his solo rock project, Philip "Proto" Nielsen (bass), Nick Dromin (guitar), Silos eventually added Ramon Blanco, guitarist for Grandson, and signed a record deal with famed rock producer Howard Benson, under Judge & Jury Records. Off to an already impressive start, the band released their first single, "Flowers" – a new take on Miley Cyrus' acclaimed hit – on March 17, 2o23. EDM influences meet those of Heavy Metal and Alternative Rock, as Garrison's new project starts off with a bang. Seemingly made for the roles, each member of the band performed with their absolute best, taking the original song up a couple of notches – and making it way better.
