Emerging artist Love Moor showcases her eclectic style on latest release, “Pacifier.” Featuring fellow songstress Moliy, the single gives powerful feminine energy over a dancehall sound. The music video is equipped with vibrant colors, island foliage, and sultry dancing.
“Pacifier” has a mellow Afropop beat that blends into the singers’ breath-like vocals. The beat has a sensuous R&B undertone with delicate instrumentals. Love Moor’s voice is smooth with a subtle rasp. Her verses complement Moliy’s soft-spoken harmonies creating a simple and elegant rhythm. They combine for the song’s chorus, “I’ll be your pacifier.” The two singers have separate cameos from each other both swaying their hips from side to side. The visual transitions to night and they come together in full denim to finish the song in the back of a classic car.
Following the track’s debut, the artist also released a new EP, LOVE. She describes, “It encompasses the sexy, the silly, and the lover in me. I wanted to show the depth of true love and all its forms… from vulnerability to strength, insecurity to confidence, and desire burning from lust to comfort. To me, love is more than a feeling.” Love Moor intersects love and emotion with an alternative sound that pushes the boundaries of traditional genre norms.
