A-Money is an Asian-American rapper inspired by both West Coast and Southern hip-hop. A-Money collaborated with the iconic, Atlanta based producer Zaytoven on his debut full length album From the Bay to A. The album is representative of the action-packed lifestyle, tenacious personality, and money-motivated mindset that A-Money carries with him through all aspects of his art.
The focus single “Trapper Rapper” is the first song on the album which highlights A-Money’s ambitious personality and thrill-chasing lifestyle. The track fuses dark and futuristic beats with A-Money’s deep-cut, venomous vocals. A-Money lays out scenes of himself counting stacks of money, rolling backwoods in the kitchen, and transitioning between the trap scene and the rap scene. A highly intimate look at A-Money’s day to day life, “Trapper Rapper” is full of unique anecdotes and vivid details that could only come from his experience alone. A-Money raps, “Move the pack / Fast and furious Honda Civic.” Twinged with dark humor beneath raw vignettes of A-Money’s thrilling narrative thus far, “Trapper Rapper” is a fully immersive look at the intersections between the trap and rap cultures.
“Trapper Rapper” is the opening track off A-Money’s upcoming album From the Bay to A. The album is an ode to both Southern and West Coast hip-hop as Zaytoven and A-Money share a common identity as Atlanta based, San Francisco born musicians. The album will be released as an NFT as well, along with his upcoming mixtape “Live From Clayco.” He has collaborated with industry greats such as Kavon Jacobs (A&R), Pacman Viccz as a featured artist on his debut single, and Zaytoven himself.
