Kayla Silverman has shared a new single called "Of Me". Silverman is a versatile songwriter who blends various genres in her songwriting, drawing from classical, pop, rock, and more. During her early journey as a musician, she spent her weekdays learning arias and rehearsing for classical concerts, and her weekends recording her original songs in a studio, practicing production, and attending marketing workshops. She didn't understand she could be entirely herself in the music industry until she became inspired by glam rock and art pop groups like Queen, David Bowie, and ELO. In her output, she infuses her love for opera's dramatic themes and costumes with funky bass lines and jazzy, smoky horns, results in a distinct sound. Her latest release is "Of Me", a graceful, glamorous cut that keeps its sound refreshing with orchestral instrumentation and heavenly, airy vocals.

"Of Me" is a clear shift in sound for Silverman, as most of her past releases have been art-pop and chamber-pop tunes, while "Of Me" draws from throwback pop sounds tinged with shades of R&B and glam rock. The song's elegant production pairs shimmering keys with punchy horns and a lively guitar solo, balancing them neatly with lush vocal harmonies and emotional strings. Silverman originally co-wrote "Of Me" with Evan Cieplik two years ago, and it finds her exploring new ground lyrically with a love song that chooses not to focus on heartbreak, unlike her prior releases.

"Of Me" shows shades of reviving the grandeur of glam rock while also showcasing Silverman's versatile songwriting, making for another infectious release from the artist in the process.
