Up-and-coming artist Akira Galaxy (born Akira Galaxy Ament) has just released her mesmerizing debut single, "Virtual Eyes," along with an enchanting music video. Directed by the talented Silken Weinberg (Ethel Cain, Blue DeTiger) and Angela Ricciardi (Skull Crusher, Angel Olsen), the music video was filmed in the romantic city of Paris.

"Virtual Eyes" showcases Akira's unique sound and captivating presence. The music video follows Akira as she chases her elusive lover through the magical French landscapes, perfectly complementing the hypnotic beauty of the track.

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Akira Galaxy grew up surrounded by art and music. Her artistic parents instilled in her a love for creativity from a young age, and she began writing her own songs at 10. In 2018, Akira moved to Los Angeles to develop her craft and pursue a career as a musician.

"Virtual Eyes" is produced and mixed by Samuel Westhoff (Sports) and serves as a tantalizing preview for her debut collection of songs, set to release in summer 2023 via Bright Antenna Records. The renowned Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) produced the forthcoming collection. In collaboration with the creative team of Silken Weinberg and Angela Riccardi, Akira Galaxy's visuals promise to be as dynamic and innovative as her music. Stay tuned for more exciting releases from this promising new artist.
