Daniel Javan has shared a new single called "In The Night". Originally from Dubai, Javan grew up in both Denmark and Sweden. His diverse upbringing helped him cultivate an international style of music that developed into collaborations with a multitude of different artists from various countries. Some of his stand-out collaborations include "Don't Know How to Love" with Norwegian artist Naits, and "feel the same" with Croatian singer sølace. His latest offering is "In the Night", a collaboration with Nazaki that contains an atmospheric, moody feel that sits somewhere between pop and lo-fi sounds.
"In The Night" contains immersive, airy synth layers that drift in hypnotic patterns, underscored by expansive percussion and infectious bass. The song has a distinctively nocturnal, wintery feel, with crystalline synth sounds that contrast intriguingly with a heavy rhythm section. Drawing from various influences in its songwriting, "In The Night" contains elements of pop, rock, lo-fi and more, and cannot quite be boxed in to one sound or style, making it a memorable new offering from Javan.
Overall, "In The Night" combines sounds and styles in an idiosyncratic fashion, while maintaining a powerful sound and dynamic songwriting throughout.
