Nashville-based, New York and LA-raised powerhouse Anna Rose allows us to have a glimpse of her heart on "Whatever Gets You Through The Night," weaving a tale of romance and heartbreak all at once.
Describing how it feels to fall in love at first sight with someone you know you can never end up with, the vulnerable number encapsulates self-doubt in our ability to love and the fear of getting our hearts broken again.
"Whatever Gets You Through The Night," is the second track from her forthcoming autobiographical record Last Girl of the Rodeo. Produced by Paul Moak, the track is a layered production which unveils her strong vocals and showcases the sonic versatility that awaits us on the album, which will span from classic rock to alternative-indie, pop, and country.
With a fierce yet powerfully intimate musical presence built on expansive soundscapes and intricate storytelling abilities, Rose has fine-tuned her ability to be brutally honest with a sensitive touch as she gears up for yet another exciting year in her journey.
