At times, the track drones on in a maze-like soundscape, as Miles' mesmerizing and anthemic vocal navigates through the anti and electro-pop production. With the release of "Momentum," Miles unveils the next chapter of her discography by confirming the May 17th arrival of a sophomore album, The Lack Thereof. It’s the personification of bravery and the frustration that comes with it. The lyrics paint a canvas that displays our fears holding us back, claiming 'I know it sounds easy, but I’m the only one that’s in the way.'
