Coming from a modeling background, San Francisco-based Laci Kay Somers started making music as a creative outlet to express herself through a different platform. Now blossoming a career in the industry, Laci Kay Somers has preformed multiple times – even opening for Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube in the Bay Area. She also loves filming music videos, and the creative control that comes with it. When asked about her dream features, Laci Kay Somers said she would love to work with Too Short and Eminem – and upon listening to her catalog, that seems like a possibility.

Laci's most recent release came out February 3rd, under her independent label LKSmusic, and is titled "Bad Bitch Alert". Laci uses the song to showcase her rapping ability, and her versatility when it comes to beats. Teaming up with Jaime Velez of Black Wood Studios, Laci Kay Somers created the track as a female anthem, with TikTok marketing in mind – no doubt influencing the short, catchy hook. Mixing melodic bells with crisp 808s, Laci makes the most of catchy repetitions and delays to maximize her vocals. Listeners can tell the track was made to be an anthem, and it's definitely worthy of that repeat button.
