Sunnsetter, the solo project of multi-instrumentalist, composer, and recording engineer Andrew McLeod, announces new EP entitled The best that I can be, alongside new single “Always Talk, Never Speak,” a gentle production rooted in an encouraging message of presenting your truest self to the world.
Led by a soft and layered guitar soundscape woven together by quiet yet impactful vocals, the track which captures McLeod’s own struggles with accepting who you are and being proud of it, carries a relatable message wrapped up in a comforting instrumentation.
Following the record’s first single “Float in Circles,” this latest offering once again unveils a deeply personal journey, intricately crafted to take us through moments of loss and grief, mental health struggles, discovering queerness and the chaos of the pandemic, packaged as a peek into McLeod’s life but stretching into something far more resonant and expansive for anyone listening.
