The Know share romantic and heartfelt shoegaze single "ME"

Dream pop husband and wife duo The Know have returned with a stunning slice of shoegaze. Called "ME", the single is the second following "Used To Be", both of which are off of their upcoming sophomore EP entitled EP 2.

With "ME" The Know takes the listener back to the beginning stages of a relationship, most specifically the honeymoon period. These blissful times are complete with heightened feel-good and carefree time together and sometimes over idealized views on one's lover. Lyrics including, " 1,000 kisses just to feel alive / I've waited years just to meet you / a conversation I won't forget / being broke just makes me want you more," show just how intensely thrilling and joyous these feelings can be in the beginning of a wonderful romantic relationship. Musically, "ME" is an expansive and cinematic affair. Complete with reverb heavy guitar riffs, gleaming synths and honey-laced vocals, the single is a dazzling dream pop reviere.

The Know is singer and director Jennifer Farmer and producer/musician Daniel Knowles. The two form one of the most exciting bands to come out of the Los Angeles area music scene in quite a long time. Their introspective and relatable narratives and sonically appealing songwriting channels influences of Beach House, The Jesus and Mary Chain as well as 60's girl groups with an added fresh perspective. Take a listen to "ME" and get lost in the dreamy musical ecstasy now.
