Emerging Chi-town artist Mvte's newest release "Not interested" is an open letter to everyone who seems not to value her worth as an individual. Backed by a jazz/soul soundscape layered with soft vocal hums, warm basslines and mellow keys, Mvte reflects on many events and characters who came into her life but ended up hurting her and now she is determined not to fall prey to those things. Armed with her laidback and unassuming flow, Mvte frankly states what she expects from everyone from henceforth and lines like "I'm not interested if you can't respect me/I'm not interested if my worth you can't see/ if you can't accept me" help buttress her message further.
The single is not tied to any project but serves as her first release for 2023.
