Canada-based Nigerian alternative R&B singer-songwriter Nesza exploded on the scene with her EP Bitter-Sweet which was released last summer and now she is back with something new titled "Should Have Cared". The moody, introspective single produced by Denzl takes elements from classic R&B textures with dark pop layerings and subtle Afrocentric grooves which affords Nezsa to paint a picture of melancholy from the rearview. The sparsely arranged track is sublime and forms the perfect foundation for Nexsa's lilting melodic runs and detailed heartfelt songwriting that digs deep into the past and how she is healing from the trauma of a relationship that has withered away.
"Should Have Cared" is the follow-up to her previous single ‘Trouble’, and it continues to sow the seeds for her highly anticipated debut album and sophomore project To All The Heartbreakers, which is set for release this Spring.
