Chicago-based act Worry Club have returned with a new single called “Knocking on Wood.” Following up their well-received recent EP ur not real that found them exploring a diverse array of genres including indie, alt-pop, and hyperpop, as well as their engaging single "Knocking on Wood", "Nothin" continues their run of versatile releases with a more hard-hitting, gritty offering.

"Nothin" opens with stabs of raw guitars that introduce the track's hypnotic vocals, before a fast-paced, lively drum line drops in that gives the song an underlying punk influence. Paired with vital bass and additional layers of wailing guitars, "Nothin" builds into a layered soundscape containing an underlying current of intense energy, making "Nothin" a potent, colorful new release that splits the line between indie rock and punk.

With a poignant amount of passion in each of their releases, "Nothin" one makes no exception with its freeing, energizing sonics and infectious songwriting. Acting as a precursor to their upcoming EP All Frogs Go To Heaven, "Nothin" makes for a dynamic indie rock cut that starts 2023 on an exciting note for Chicago's Worry Club.
