Arkansas expansive pop duo joan returns with an infectious new single "nervous". The song is the latest off of their highly anticipated forthcoming debut album superglue. In addition to the new single, the band has announced a 20 date headline US tour.

"nervous" chronicles young love, intoxication and all the feels that come with that. Sometimes a crush can send our emotions into a tailspin and our nerves are equally affected and with "nervous", joan highlights that all too relatable experience. Lyrics including, "you make me nervous / and now I'm slurring my words / I'm starting to sweat / you are my singular focus," show just how much this love interest has captivated joan's attention. The attraction isn't always easy to deal with though and joan shows all the anxiety that ensues. Sonically, "nervous" is classic joan with brilliant elevated melodies over alt pop soundscapes. Fun loving synths and warm nostalgic vocals take the listener back to their first crush.

joan is one of the most exciting left of center pop bands to come out of the Southern US. With a charismatic delivery and a knack for creating pop songs that feel familiar yet fresh, the duo has created a passionate and dedicated fan base around the world. Check out "nervous" now and get tickets to see the band on tour at a town near you.
