Following her fast track success from her 2020 Ep1 and her performance at Wembley Stadium for the FA cup, ECKOES has released her first single of the year “Missing You” which demonstrates why her soulful music touches so many. The new single is emotive and explores a raw indie-electronica sound, produced by Kinnship. Throughout the single, the sound of grand piano, ECKOES emphatic powerful vocals, trap-like drums and string-like synths all come together to create an elegant musical piece. Kinnship's production details are a welcome addition, with a subtle touch of electronica coursing through the release.
Speaking on the next chapter and her first release of 2023, Eckoes explains her motives and ideas behind “Missing You” – “When someone leaves a hole in your life, having everything else means nothing. To miss someone is a very quiet & lonely grief”.
