Hailing from Mumbai is the independent music project Arrows, which comes from the brainchild of musician and music journalist David Britto. His new single “Another Avenue” is a fresh sounding pop track that features the luscious vocals from female vocalist Riya Duggal. Britto began his project in the early stages of 2018 after playing bass guitar for Bombay blues-rockers The Tripp and playing amongst the extensive Indian club circuit.
Throughout Britto’s musical pieces, he invites guest vocalists and artists to perform on his tracks such as Vernon Noronha, Siddharth Basrur, Raghav Meattle, The Lightyears Explode and Tejas. "Another Avenue" is an emphatic piece of pop music, rich in guitar licks and funk-driven bass-lines. The vocalist Riya Duggal has a gorgeous attitude to her voice. Speaking on the new release and working with producer Jason D’Souza and vocalist Riya, he writes “I’ve adored the work both Jason and Riya have done in their respective careers. I’ve followed Jason’s stint in music from his time in various bands as a guitarist as well as his work as a producer for some of my favorite Indian records. I’ve known Riya for close to 10 years now and I’ve always admired her work ethic and her ability as a vocalist to make melodies sound so sweet. It is a pleasure to have worked with both of them.”
