Erika shares why she is sometimes "Dramatic" [Video]

NY-based Jakarta, Indonesia-born singer-songwriter Erika caught our ears and eyes with her new single "Dramatic". The emerging pop singer brings a refreshing energy fusing elements of pop with R&B sensibilities and her own unique touch. "Dramatic" sees her detailing the dynamics of being in love. From wanting attention and being sensitive about the lack of love displayed by her partner, she explores the effects of being extra clingy and needy. Bolstered by Milky Day's bouncy and upbeat soundscape made up of soothing textures and bright plucks, Erika delivers sultry melodies in a playful manner.  She sure sounds more than confident and unapologetic as she explores her own flaws and how one's past could sabotage the present.

The song's visual is directed by Erika Prihadi herself and suffices to say, she knows how to present herself to the world. She makes use of subtle motifs, minimalistic retro elements and an eclectic fashion sense to get her message across. As the saying goes, sometimes less is more and Erika got a lot going on. Lastly, the visuals were edited by  Erika Prihadi and Nicola Rios.

Erika is currently studying in the Tisch School of the Arts.
