Authentic, raw, and charismatic are just few of the words to describe Chicago-born and bred musician Brye. The talented artist is making waves with her deeply relatable and catchy indie pop musical releases and her latest single "Diet Culture" is no exception.

"Diet Culture" is all about the struggles many people face with eating disorders and body dysmorphia. Lyrics including, "Someone I just met jokes that they forget / To eat until it's the middle of the night / And I know their worst fear is to look like me / And that fact makes me want to kill somebody / I'm eating at the counter and you're talking about your weight," showcases how utterly toxic society as a whole can be over the lack of self-love and body positivity. Brye relays though in the song's narrative that she has done the work on herself and is embracing her own body wholeheartedly. The single's narrative is striking a chord with listeners around the globe with thousands adding the song to their own social media stories about eating disorder recovery. Musically, "Diet Culture" features Brye's pristine vocals singing healing melodies over sparse production. The intoxicating single also highlights a kaleidoscope of colorful beats and driving rhythms.

Brye began writing music at the young age of twelve and as a young teen also began studying music production. In just over three years, the singer-songwriter has already amassed a dedicated and loyal following with over seventy million streams and hundreds of thousands social media followers. The highly sought-after artist has also collaborated with the likes of Cavetown and Addison Grace among others. Take a listen to "Diet Culture" now and remember to love yourself.
