Currently based in Vancouver, BC, Diego Flores is a recording artist and producer known for his acoustic pop music. Originally from Cancun, Mexico, Diego started writing music at the age of 12 to cope with his families move to Switzerland. He eventually fell in love with music, and using it as a voice, and started recording at the age of 18. Diego dropped out of university to pursue music full time, after realizing his potential. His biggest inspirations in the industry are 50 Cent and Eminem – although it's not the same style he makes, their music and stories inspired him to use his voice. Now 27, Diego Flores mixes, masters, and produces the beats for his own music – never losing his persistency to get the job done.
His latest single, titled "Ups and Downs", was released on January 13, 2023 – and is a perfect example of Diego using music to express his emotions. Fuelled by acoustic pop melodies and crisp vocals, "Ups and Downs" takes us on a journey.
