Psychedelic indie rock act Spooky Cool showcases their melodic prowess on “Only Colour,” drawing from the peak of lead singer-songwriter Zac Hryciak’s existential crisis, capturing the ebbs and flows of his creativity.

With captivating vocal lines taking centre stage and an intricate instrumentation of ethereal synths and percussion backdropping it, the track moves into an expansive electronic chorus that draws listeners into their sonic diversity.

Formed in 2014 and quickly building a reputation for their intoxicating stage presence, Spooky Cool’s carefully constructed soundscape of rock, indie and electronic styles makes for a hypnotic yet gritty artistry that continues to set the quintet apart, offering up an enticing glimpse of their nine-track debut album Existential Pie.
