NYC-based multi-dimensional indie pop artist D'Arcy has just shared her latest single. Called "360", the track is off of her just shared album The Art of Flying, which is all about coping with hardships and learning how to find beauty in suffering.
"360" is a poignant song all about loss and disconnection. Through D'Arcy's evocative and raw storytelling, the listener can feel her pain and yearning for the one that got away. Lyrics including, "I haven't spoke to you in 360 days / I don't know what to do / but I every now and then on a Sunday I'll pray / where have you gone / where are you now," show the questions that haunt us when we miss someone and lose touch with an important person from our past. D'Arcy's introspective vocals hang effortlessly over lush piano chords and sweeping acoustic guitars. "360" is a tear jerker and a song full of deep emotion that pulls the listener in with every note.
D'Arcy began sharing music in 2020 and since then the prolific songwriter has ushered in enthralling single after single culminating into this year's release of her first full length 15 track album The Art of Flying. The album chronicles a journey of emotions and healing, one that travels through times of love and loss and ultimate catharsis. With a full US tour under her belt and critical acclaim, D'Arcy is continuing to make her mark as a rising alt pop singer/songwriter.
