Edinburgh folk singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Daisy Chute and Glaswegian alt-indie singer-songwriter, Crawford Mack have teamed up on soulful single “Parallel Roads,” with an acoustic soundscape led by an intricate duet of vocals and thoughtful lyrics delving into feelings of hurt and attachment in love.
With Mack’s soft voice melting into Chute melodic lines backdropped by soothing guitars, the pair showcase their ability to balance delicacy with strength as their unveil not only their individual musicality but the sonic partnership they’ve honed in recent times with Mack supporting Chute across three shows in Scotland.
The track which follows the critical acclaimed of Chute’s EPs, Songs of Solaceand Cradle Songs,and leaves us in anticipation of Mack’s 2023 album, is an ethereal encapsulation of two artists cementing their space in music.
