Rising London vocalist CHINWE 's newest release "Paranoia" dives into the concept of being self-aware and moving on to greater things regardless of one's setbacks and flaws. Following up her potent recent single "Something Beautiful", "Paranoia" is an immersive song bolstered by a brooding bass riff, pulsating harps and sparse grooves. The East London-raised singer delivers an insightful and heartfelt piece with her distinctly soothing vocals underpinned by airy melodic arrangements and moody underlying harmonies to boot.
The song also dives into self-reflection and realizing that no one really has your back but brooding about it won't solve matters so it's best to make the best out of it and grow to be a better person rather than being resentful. Lines like “Don’t look behind, you won’t like what you find”, implores listeners to rid themselves of the mistakes of the past and find peace in the present.
CHINWE is currently working on her sophomore EP project – due for release in early 2023.
