Monologues turn to melodies in St. Humain’s “Pillow”

St. Humain has become known for his enthralling amalgamation of sounds and stories. With humbling authenticity and simply admirable resonance, his ability to bring fables to life is skyrocketing him into a realm of dreamy pop. His latest single “Pillow” is no exception.

With his METADRAMATIC EP on the horizon, St. Humain continues to channel his dark, electro-pop energy into another exceptional anthem. He explains, “maybe I’m too cautious, maybe I’m too scared. But this song captures the feeling of missing somebody (again) and wanting to be close to them… I’m thinking about them when I go to sleep, and it keeps me up sometimes. But at the same time, there’s something holding me back. My own heart is holding me back. I’m such a slow burn that I’m unable to simply dive into love and need to take things very gradually. This tension between wanting anything but withholding everything = Pillow.”

In an ode to the internal battle inside your head that is often felt when you have feelings for someone, he turns monologues into melodies in a truly exceptional way. Each verse fuels this euphoric new offering to dreamy new heights, as reverberating rhythms meet escalating basslines. Needless to say, St. Humain’s exploration into the battle of love is one that can resonate with us all. His new EP is set to soar.
