Galvanic and Smeyeul team up with Marc E. Bassy on "Numb"

US-based indie/lo-fi pop musicians Galvanic (Wyatt Johnson) and Smeyeul (Connor Hennessy) come together with Marc E. Bassy on new offering “Numb,” exploring puppy love in a situation where someone doesn’t love you back.

Galvanic and Smeyeul who are about embark on yet another project together, showcase their continued collaborative skill on this catchy anthem manages to showcase a melancholic yet laid-back instrumental with powerful vocals from Bassy elevating the track to new levels.

With a delicate balance exploring the numbness that comes with your love not being returned as well as revelling in the odd sense of freedom drawn from it, the track merges Galvanic and Smeyeul’s individual sonic signatures, coming to life with lo-fi, pop-tinged electronics.

Speaking of the track, Wyatt Johnson said, “The song is about unrequited love, and how it can eventually make you feel dumb, confused, and even numb. "

Connor Hennessy under his moniker Smeyeul and Wyatt Johnsonwith this artistic identity of Galvanic are powerhouses in their own right and together with Bassy’s coveted musicality they establish themselves an unstoppable force on this newest production.
