Erick Pagan and Chris Rosa shed light on a plaguing issue in "Devil Remix"

Dr. Erick Pagan also known as “The Singing Dentist” and world-renowned record producer Chris Rosa (Jamie Foxx, Chrissy Metz, Madonna) team up once again to help bring awareness to an issue plaguing rural communities and American dinner tables across the nation in their new release titled "Devil Remix". The track is a dance version of Dr. Pagan's track of the same name which was released about two years ago.  The song and its docu-style music video brought enough awareness that the local government made efforts to have the dumping stopped in Rayle Ga. which is the home of Dr. Pagan. Pagan and members of his community used to watch and hear these trucks filled with this waste as they sped past his house to be dumped locally on farmland. This was followed by the immediate smell of this horrible concoction. This roaring sound, the smell, and the harm that followed are what Pagan calls  “The Devil roaring down the road”, thus the title of his song.

The track is a blend of pop-folk instrumentation with Dance sensibilities. From the subtle strings, moody basslines, brooding synths and thick four-to-the-floor drums and gripping narration that detail the underhanded activities of an industry where human biowaste is mixed with farm animal waste and injected into the American food chain via its use as a “fertilizer” on crops. Chris Rosa and Dr. Pagan hope that the new club/radio-friendly remix catches the ear of a new audience who might hear the lyrics and be intrigued enough to dig themselves into what the song is about and possibly start their own conversations.

They are also about to release a new remix video /visual to come out soon after the remix release. If you’re hearing the remix or reading this then the plan to spread awareness of this issue is working. “Let’s work together and get this out of our systems,” says Dr. Pagan.
