Stalking Gia shares new dating anthem "obviously…"

NY based indie pop singer/songwriter Stalking Gia has just unleashed her latest single "obviously…" and it is an enticing one. The track follows her recently released single "saddest happy girl", the first of the year from this dark pop siren.

"obviously…" contemplates the beginning phases of dating. From feeling like the person is super into you to feeling ignored and brushed aside, "obviously…" is all about that speculation and over analyzing that comes with dating someone new. She sings, "it's been too long and now it's weird / don't lie / you miss me on the east side / west side / I'm calling you out / I know there is more to the story." "obviously…" further foretells that "if they wanted to they would and he’s just not that into you," proclaims Stalking Gia. Musically, the track begins with steady warm acoustic guitar chords under Stalking Gia's pensive and dreamy vocals, soon culminating into an intoxicating indie rock driven soundscape. With a soaring and climatic chorus where Stalking Gia questions her love interest's actions, "obviously…" is a relatable dating anthem.

Stalking Gia is a platinum selling songwriter who first began sharing music in 2016. Many of her songs have achieved viral success and musician/songwriter/producer blackbear took a sample of her song "Second Nature" into his single "Wish U The Best" to commercial acclaim. The artist often writes songs about self love, relationship dilemmas and finding inner peace. Take a listen to "obviously…" now and remember to not overthink.
