UK Drill trailblazer K-Trap burst on the scene in 2017 with the single "David Blaine" and got co-signed early on by veterans Stormzy and Giggs. K-Trap proceeded to launch his own label Thousand8 Records and dropped his project Trapo late last year and followed it with the mixtape Joints 2 early this year. He recently put out a new mixtape The Last Whip II and now shares the video to the single "Extra Sleeve" featuring Headie One. Over the pounding and brooding drill soundscape, K-Trap gets into his element with bravado and unapologetic lyrics that take aim at the opposition and naysayers. Headie One is definitely not slacking as he continues the pace with his gruff vocals and devil-may-care laidback flow ripe with street knowledge and a whole lot of bravado.
The visual for "Extra Sleeve" taps into the dark theme of the tune itself and employs minimal visual effects, fast pace seamless transitions and performance cut scenes that capture both rapper's distinct fashion style and overall demeanor.
