Magsy’s noticeable effort to create groundbreaking pop music comes from his previous several years working as a construction worker. Perhaps, this previous role of his has inspired his DIY pathway that sees him taking full control of his music career, taking command of every detail from writing, production and creating music videos. Though his musical career spans back to his earlier age of 14, where he immediately found his enjoyment and freedom of expression that it allowed him to have.
Speaking on his process towards his latest release Magsy writes, “Funny enough, I think that construction has made me a better musician as I believe my two hands are just as capable as any. As an indie artist, I’m asked to fill a lot of roles when creating and releasing music. Making TikToks and marketing myself brought me back to the first time my father handed me a power tool while balancing on a ladder. You learn quickly that getting good at one thing will lead you to believe you can get good at another.”
