Austin-based, Korean-American talent Kize Bae drops uplifting track “1000 Paper Cranes," a luscious indie-pop number that comes to life withhope, love and joy in an ode to the bravery of young children battling terminal cancer.
Carried by Kize’s soaring vocals layered over a slow-burn beats, the track is a warm and anthemic homage to all people going through hardships rooted in the concept of wishes and hope, inspired by a Make A Wish documentary.
The track is accompanied by a music video which captures Kize’s journey alongside her loved ones to make 1000 paper cranes for a YouTube challenge, culminating in a collaboration with Make A Wish, which saw the rising artist create an installation of paper cranes that was auctioned off at their annual gala.
